Nalu is a CRM for small service businesses. Book the job, send the quote, keep track of the work, take payment on your iPhone, and see what you actually made on it.
Made for detailing studios, cleaning crews, repair shops, salons, installers and anyone who sells their time and materials.
| Deep clean, 3 bed / 2 bath | $320.00 |
| Carpet shampoo, 2 rooms | $140.00 |
| Inside oven and fridge approved by text | $70.00 |
| Tax | $24.97 |
| Total | $554.97 |
Here's what happens to a job in Nalu. Every step feeds the next one, so nothing gets typed twice.
Customers book from your website or you add them in a few taps. Jobs land on the calendar and sync to Google or Apple Calendar. No double booking.
The booking becomes an order. Add services and materials, attach before photos, and assign someone from your team. Mobile jobs open in Maps.
Send a quote by link. The customer approves, declines or asks for changes, and you can see which version they agreed to.
Found something extra to do? Text the customer a price and get the approval in writing before you start on it.
Take a deposit up front. At pickup, tap their card on your iPhone or text a Stripe payment link. The customer signs, and the receipt goes out by text.
Every customer's history stays on file: what you did, what they paid, what they'll need next. When it's time for the repeat visit, you know who to call.
Every service pulls its materials out of inventory. Subcontractor and vendor bills attach to the job. So the dashboard shows gross profit with costs split out, not a revenue number that hides your spending.
Most small businesses we talk to run on a mix of paper, texts and an Excel file. Here's what changes.
| Before | With Nalu | |
|---|---|---|
| Job costing | An evening a week in Excel guessing at product cost | Profit on every job, calculated as you close it |
| Repeat work | Repeat visits forgotten because nobody wrote them down | Full history for every customer |
| Getting paid | Paper invoices, chasing Venmo, a card reader in a drawer | Tap to Pay on iPhone, payment links, deposits |
| Upsells | "He said yes on the phone, I think" | Approval by text, saved on the order |
| Schedule | Two jobs booked for the same slot | One calendar, synced to your phone |
“I own a detailing studio. The CRMs I tried were either built for sales teams or cost more than my rent. I'm a software engineer too, so I wrote the system I wanted for my own business, then opened it up to everyone else who runs on jobs, materials and customers.”
